Sarah is an experienced arts-based group facilitator, community worker, radio/audio producer, and mother to two feisty girls. She is currently completing a Master of Social Work degree at Wilfrid Laurier University. Sarah has a longstanding interest in the power of story and storytelling to transform people, relationships and institutions. As the parent of a child with a disability, she strives to shift the dominant story about disability, within the medical system and beyond, in part by telling different types of stories about her daughter and her own experience. She is excited to be a Patient as Teacher facilitator.
